Commissioned Portraits

This handsome fellow, Hutch, is a rescued silver haired schnauzer. His favorite place? Stretched out on the back of his owners couch, snuggled close with his person.

The portrait was to be a special gift to her husband. After a conversation with my client, my focus was to capture the essence of the story: 1) these old soul loving eyes; 2) shining sterling silver fur; and 3) the meeting place suggested by the lines of couch and pillow.

Hutch waits to hear about your long day. I’m not sure who rescued who.
